The Camp Invention program is a nonprofit enrichment experience that develops creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills through hands-on exploration for elementary school children. It promotes a passion for learning science and focuses on making learning fun.
Your children will experiment with physics, engineering and creative problem-solving while practicing critical thinking skills that they will continue to use througout their lives.
The Discover Program:
Each day, children entering grades one through six will participate in five innovative activities led by local educators.
Viking Treasure Trek: The Quest Begins
Brave the fury of the ocean in search of long-lost Viking treasure. Solve puzzles, investigate clues, and work as a team to find the hidden fortune!
Comic Book Science: FlyJack and Jill
Uncover superhero science such as flying, morhping, and super strength. Then create your own comic book!
Land Sled X-Treme
Get ready for the ultimate racing experience! Score materials to craft a land sled by completing challenges and then race your creation in the X-Treme obstacle course.
I Can Invent: Fantasy Inventions & Complicated Machines II
Take apart a broken machine and see what's inside! Then use its gears, guts, and gadgets to invent a machine that's never been seen before.
Recess Remix
Twist it, turn it, shake it, and reverse it. Transform old-school games in fun, new ways to rock the playground.
